Over the past 20 years, the specialists of Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Associates have earned the confidence and trust of patients and their referring physicians in Columbia of Howard County as well as its neighboring counties. With the merger of the very first pulmonary group in Howard County, we have a combined total of over 100 years of continuous service to the community. As a result , we are the leading pulmonary practice in the region.

Our providers introduced the practice of critical care medicine to Howard County General in 1992. In September of 2003, our specialists entered into an agreement with Howard County General Hospital to establish a critical care program in collaboration with other clinical staff. Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Associates is proud of the achievements of the critical care program. These include various state wide and national awards with recognition through the Healthgrades Critical Care Excellence award.

In May 2009, we opened the Center for Sleep Disorders in Columbia, MD.
Our sleep center is unique in its interdisciplinary approach to treating sleep disorders. Click on the Center for Sleep Disorders tab to learn more. We have also relocated our main office to the new Medical Pavilion at Howard County, a modern, state-of-the-art, environmentally responsible medical office building located on the campus of Howard County General Hospital in the heart of Columbia.
